Recent Activities

Brethren from Cassia Mt. Horeb Lodge #273 have been greeted by a number of changes in the past year or two – not the least of which are significant improvements to the building and updates to our communications infrastructure.

We’ll be working on a good number of things this year, including increasing our social outreach and a dedicated space for our members in the lodge for general comradery and fun! Please keep an eye on our facebook page or join our discord group to find out what’s happening in real time.

Brothers Winton Hewitt P.M., Len Bezar P.M., and Brian Mattocks visited our masonic widows to deliver flowers, chocolates, and holiday cheer.

Brethren from our lodge traveled the great distance to Washington Lodge #156 to attempt to procure the traveling gavel. We were met with warmth, gentle hospitality and a very full lodge room.

Brethren enjoyed the comfort of our lodge while attending the academy of masonic knowledge meeting held in Elizabethtown. Snacks and warm discussion peppered the breaks between presenters.

Cassia Mt. Horeb Lodge #273 honored one of their own tonight. Brother Hornung has server the lodge and his community throughout his life and has earned the respect and admiration of the brethren and community. We are all grateful for your service Bro. Hornung.

As in previous years, we’ve hosted the scouts at our lodge. We enjoyed a great evening reviewing the advancements in backpacking over the last several years and sharing community and fellowship with the scouts.

Brothers from Thompson Lodge in Paoli showed up in force to reclaim the traveling gavel. We enjoyed visits from no less than 21 brothers from Paoli! Good traveling Gents!
